Read Warrior Diet First

For those who've read the Warrior Diet and:(i) want to learn more, and in the case of this book a LOT more, about the science behind cycling between periods of over eating and then undereating; and (ii) want to learn how to "tweak" the program set forth in the Warrior Diet to enhance muscle building; then this book is for you.

If you're new to Ori's writings/theories on eating, then it will be a difficult read and you may come away from it unclear as to what exactly to do.

It's well written and well researched, but it is technical.

outstanding technical/scientific reference

This is an excellent reference to the science behind and beyond THE WARRIOR DIET, not that you have to have that book to read this one, but it is more of a clear application guide to the concepts in this book. This book can be a great resource to the serious athlete but because it gives no specific plan to use the information in it, it is not for the weekend health recreationalist. Be warned it is a very complex book, the information is all there, but the average reader will likely have trouble understanding much of the information without some background or previous interest in the technical functions of chemicals and hormones in the body. A lot of scientific talk here. Excellent book, but be ready to do more research to get a full understanding of all the knowledge in here.

Tried it exactly as stated in the book. I was hungry all the time. After 6 weeks I lost nearly a kg of muscle and gained 500g of fat. I had a body fat % of 8% and was looking to go down to 6%. During this period I followed a strength training program with heavy weights and progression in 3 week cycles and different rep schemes. During the fasting period I got hungrier and hungrier. By feasting time I was like a lion that hasn't eaten for a week. A then ate a good dinner with lots and lots of protein and veg and carbs like rice etc. I stuck to real food because that was what I craved, but even then I gained some fat. Ori writes very convincingly and it seems to make sense to eat as recommended. But it doesn't work and I'm sure nobody can keep it up

Valentine Tank Walk Around

The British Valentine tank was not the best of WW2, but since it was about the best the Brits had at the time, over 8200 were made. The early versions had 2lbr cannon (40mm) later had 6 lbr (57mm). Key differences were found in which mark had a 2 man turret vs. 3 man turret.

This Walk Around has photos of the Mark III, Mark VI photos and Mark IX. Photos by author David Doyle and Dennis Trowbridge are fantastic. Unfortunately, the photos of the Mark VI were taken indoors and the tank looks blue and on the darker side. These photos are OK, but there are no interior shots to show the difference of a 2 vs 3 man turret. A line drawing would have been very useful here.

As a modeler, I would absolutely recommend this book to someone building a version of the Valentine. The captions are excellent, there is a ton of information helpful to modelers, armor buffs, definitely a book to add to the library, just not quite up to the usual gold star standard found in the Walk Around Series (many of them authored by David Doyle).

About the Author
Euripides was an Athenian born in 484BC. A member of a family of considerable rank, he disliked performing the public duties expected of him, preferring a life of introspection. He was not a popular figure, and at some point (and for a reason unknown) he went into voluntary exile at the court of Archelaus, King of Macedon. He died c.407BC and is thought to have written around ninety-two plays, of which seventeen survive.

So many things i need to say about this book and no idea where to start.

First of all this book is an "interactive" book!
You know whn you watch a movie and you start screaming at the actors???
Well this happens in this book.
I found myself many times screaming "No no no this can't happen" and "don't go there.." or "no no no you really don't want to do this".

Then there is the mount of emotions you go through in this book.
I have to say that for a couple of days i had to put the book down cause if i kept reading something bad would happen to my favorite character but if i didn't read it it wouldn't happen!(silly i know)
Then i had to face the music cause the agony was killing me and read the book to see what happens.

I laughed and cried,i had my heart broken,i had tears and anguish .The anxiety was killing me and i spend sleepless nights thinking of what in the world would happen.

I runned in the slums and visited the Lifted city .
I was a Guardian and i was a slumboy and a Lifted Lady and a King.
I was death and life and i was everything and nothing.

It never stops amazing me how Daryl Banner twists and turns his stories.
It never stops amazing me how Daryl Banner is a freaking magician in writing his stories.
He has a unique talent in wrapping the reader in his stories...taking you out of your house and in his amazing universe.

Every time i feel like i am switching bodies with every one og his characters
5 stars are not enough for this book but since its all i have they are well deserved.

Once more i am amazed!
I can't wait for the next book.

Seriously Awesome read!

Everything I've read by this man is pure Genius!! I have been reading this author's books for a while now and I can't help but fall in love with his characters and writing style. In Outlier legacy I found myself quickly becoming emotionally involved with every aspect in every scene. Thebopening scene I found myself in need of tissues but quickly recovered though it weighed on my heart. I feel like at one point in our lives we've all felt like the characters in this series feel and that's whatbmakes this series absolutely amazing I can't wait to see what lies ahead and what will happen with each of the characters. I will recommend this to all my friends!!!

First off, as a disclaimer, I love everything Daryl writes. But this is by far the best series I've ever started. The points of view are not super confusing, and even though there's a ton of characters, I find myself caring about and loving everyone. This is the second book in this heart twisting story, and at the end of both I felt...broken. I don't know what to do now, living my life is just too damn boring. Please let the next book come soon.

"I've never quite seen an alphabet book as cute as this one. Delightfully fun and snappy illustrations as Morgan the monster hunter travels the world, looking for a monster for each letter of the alphabet. Each illustration is accompanied by a cute little poem. What sets the book apart though, is that the artist cleverly inserted additional items in the picture that start with the same letter as the monster. So for example while Morgan peers into the A is for Abominable Snowman cave, we find an accordion, armadillo, anchor and so on. Each picture becomes a 'search and find' for kids as they learn their letters will find other objects starting with the same letter, improving their vocabulary and reading skills but most importantly they'll be HAVING FUN!"

My nephew loves it!

"I got this for my 4 year old nephew and even my 10 year old read through it several times. The artist draws funny, comical monsters but each painting also includes other things that start with the same letter. The Sasquatch drawing alone is worth the price of the book. And that should also be mentioned because it's a full color really well done book and it's only $7.99. Can't wait to give it to me nephew."

Monsters and a hunt!

So perfect for my grand kids who love monsters and a hunt for.....anything. In this book each page has many things, other than the main monster, that begin with the letter of the page. Great fun to find these and some subtle spelling lessons going on as well. Then, with each time it is read, the kids get to show off their memory. It has become a new favorite at bedtime.

Have always loved the story and sent it to my grandson. I was very disappointed to fond out it was a tiny version. This should be clearly stated in the description since I thought I was sending him the full size version with the fold out ladder
